Scholars researched many different animals and created a nonfiction book to showcase all the facts they learned. They talked about key points such as how an animal moves, what it looks like, and any adaptations they may have. The students were very excited to share their findings.
Students were challenged to create a mental image in their partners mind this week. Each pair created a picture and a short paragraph to go with it. The students then had to read their description while their partner used their iPad to draw the mental image that came to their mind. This has really helped expand some big adjectives into our writing!
