Thursday was the 100th day of school! Can you believe it? Scholars rotated to each first grade classroom to participate in different 100 day activities. They built with 100 cups, dominos, legos, and blocks, estimated how full a cup would fill with 100 drops, helped think of 100 superpowers, and skip counted to 100 in multiple ways! At the end of the day, we found an aging app that allowed us to see what we would look like at 100 and predicted what our life would be like at that age.
The last few weeks scholars learned all about magnets and how they work. We introduced magnets with a visitor from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The students explored different magnet activities. We then created our own magnet mazes!
